A local authority based in London is seeking a commercial contracts and procurement lawyer to start ASAP until mid-January 2027.
The successful commercial contracts and procurement lawyer will be required to provide expert legal advice in relation to contract law and procurement law, draft contracts, draft other relevant documentation in relation to tenders, give legal advice in relation to contract disputes, data protection, Freedom of Information Act requests and other areas of local government law.
You will be required to manage your own caseload of commercial legal matters from the outset. You will work amongst a team of 4 lawyers.
This role can be conducted wholly remotely apart from attendance for induction and laptop collection.
This is an urgent role, so candidates must be available on short notice. You must also have a current practising certificate to be considered for the role.
