LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a large public sector organisation which has grown rapidly in the last 12 months. Its purpose is to provide procurement and logistics services to many other organisations across England and Wales in order to help them reduce costs.
As the team expands, they are seeking a legal advisor to join them on a permanent basis. It is essential that you are a UK-qualified solicitor and have at least 2 years’ experience advising on procurement matters, as well as solid knowledge of The Procurement Act. It would be desirable if you also have experience working in a healthcare setting.
You must be either a UK-qualified solicitor, admitted to the Solicitors Regulation Authority, or a UK-qualified chartered legal executive, admitted to the CILEX practitioners directory.
The role will be hybrid, with 1 or 2 days per week expected in the office. They have various office locations which you can work out of including London, Nottingham, Leeds, and Sheffield. Their Head Office is in Nottingham, and you will be required to attend this office a few times per year for essential meetings.
The salary starts at £57,942 per annum, with an additional bonus of up to 10% and other benefits including a good pension scheme.
