SAR’s Paralegal

LAW Absolute is working with a local authority based in London who are seeking a Subject Access Request (SARs) Paralegal for an initial period of three months.

The successful paralegal will be required to undertake the following duties:

  • Assist in supporting the SAR’s team.
  • Review files relating to a SAR and ensure the documents are redacted for confidential and privileged information.
  • Draft legal correspondence and assist with legal enquiries.
  • Prepare SAR response bundles in accordance with the DPA 2018
  • Conduct relevancy reviews, pre-reads, and complete due diligence documentation.

Previous data protection experience would be highly advantageous.

The candidate will be required to attend the office 5 days per week for the first week for training. Thereafter, you will need to attend once per fortnight.

Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are seeking candidates available on no more than two weeks’ notice. Previous local government experience is highly advantageous. Paralegal experience is essential.
