Property and Regeneration Locum Lawyer

We are working with a Local Authority in the Kent Region looking for a Property and Regeneration Locum Lawyer to join their department for an initial 3-month period.

The successful candidate must be a UK qualified Solicitor with at least 12 months’ experience in dealing with the following:

  • Matters including acquisitions and disposals, right to buy transactions, leases and licences, deeds of variation, deeds of surrender, rent reviews Assisting with the preparation of Compulsory Purchase Orders. Acting on behalf of the council as landowner concerning the grant of easements and covenants, registration of transactions at the Land Registry. Good knowledge and experience in Regeneration matters is essential

You will need to have experience of handling your own legal caseload. Previous Property legal experience in a local authority is essential.

Pay rate is between £40-55 per hour.

The local authority is looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible. Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are looking to speak to candidates available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice.
