Litigation Lawyer Locum

We are working with a Local Authority in the Oxfordshire region looking for a Litigation Lawyer to join their busy team on an interim basis, for an initial 3-month period.

The successful candidate must be UK qualified and have upwards of 12 months’ experience in:

  • General Civil Litigation law
  • Criminal Litigation
  • Non school attendance prosecution experience is desirable

Expertise in dealing with a wide range of litigation matters including:

  • Variety of Civil and Criminal Disputes on behalf of the Council at Courts
  • Advising and instructing clients from various department at the council
  • Handling your own legal caseload of litigation matters

The Council offers a hybrid working environment.

Pay rate is between £40-55 per hour.

The local authority is looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible. Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are looking to speak to candidates available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice. Previous civil and criminal litigation legal experience in a local authority is essential.
