An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Officer to join a non-departmental public body who implement and manage anti-doping policy in the UK. They currently have a need for an experienced Legal Officer to join their Legal team. Reporting into the Head of Case Management, you will assist in the prosecution of rule violation matters and all non-contentious legal matters. You will work with the Legal Team to ensure the highest quality legal advice is made available to the organisation in the most efficient way. You will advise on investigations into potential rule violations, conduct legal research, preparing independent review requests as well as draft and serve Notice/Charge Letters.
To be considered for the role, you should have a professional legal qualification, such as LPC or BPTC and be able demonstrable experience of handling or assisting litigation, advocacy before tribunals and/or lower courts, contracts and/or Freedom of Information Act and Data Protection Act/GDPR matters.
Successful candidates will receive a competitive salary of between £34,000 – £38,000 depending on experience, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and accrual of one day of annual leave for every year of service, up to 30 days. In addition, they offer flexible, hybrid working as well as a range of additional benefits.
