An opportunity has arisen for a Lawyer to join a non-departmental public body who implement and manage anti-doping policy in the UK. They currently have a need for an experienced Lawyer to join their Legal team. Reporting into the Head of Case Management, you will be responsible for prosecuting on rule violation matters, including acting as an advocate on behalf of organisation and other tribunals. You will also be responsible for preparing independent review requests, draft and review written submissions and witness statements as well as advise on evidence gathering and admissibility in addition to reviewing evidence for disclosure purposes.
To be considered for the role, you should be a Barrister or Solicitor with a current practising certificate and substantial experience of appearing as an advocate before a range of tribunals. You should have substantial experience of handling litigation matters, proven experience of working with professional regulations and demonstrable experience of drafting and reviewing commercial contracts. Although not essential, experience of working with anti-doping rules and regulations is desirable.
Successful candidates will receive a competitive salary of between £53,000 – £58,000 depending on experience, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and accrual of one day of annual leave for every year of service, up to 30 days. In addition, they offer flexible, hybrid working as well as a range of additional benefits.
