Investigator

A medical regulatory body are seeking a number of interim investigators to join their Professional Regulation directorate. They are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join for an initial 12-month contract.

You will be responsible for investigating, and reporting on, regulatory concerns raised about medical professionals. In your role you will gather and analyse information in order to assess whether a professional is safe to practise and if they pose any risk to patients in their care.

To be considered you will have experience of managing a case holding and competing priorities, and you will be a highly-motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who is able to work independently and as part of team. You will be able to demonstrate patience and resilience as well as empathy and have good active listening skills. Whilst a knowledge and understanding of professional regulation, preferably in the heath sector, is beneficial, it is not essential. Importantly you’ll have a desire to learn and build your knowledge in this area.

These are full time roles that are offering a mixture of both office and remote working, you will be expected to attend the office twice a week. Although these are 12-month contract roles, there is the potential for extension and/or permanent roles. You will receive an hourly rate (PAYE) of £16.39 + holiday per hour.
