A local authority based in Greater London is seeking an experienced Housing Litigation Lawyer for an initial period of 3 months.
The successful Housing Lawyer will be required to manage their own caseload of housing management cases including disrepair, succession and non-occupation/subletting claims. You will also be required to attend court and conduct advocacy on behalf of the council. A good knowledge of the pre-action protocols and CPR is essential to be considered.
Candidates must hold a current practising certificate and local authority experience is preferred but is not essential.
This is a hybrid working role and the client is ideally seeking candidate able to attend the office 1-2 days per week. Please note this is negotiable but some form of attendance will be required. The client is open to considering condensed working hours but a minimum of 4 days per week is required.
Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are seeking candidates available on no more than 3 weeks’ notice.
