A well-known Charity are seeking an experienced Head of Legal for a 12-month contract to join their busy team and provide effective leadership, support and delivery of the Charities strategy.
You will be working closely with the General Counsel and Company Secretary, developing and maintaining relationships internally and externally. You will support the delivery of cross-organisational governance, risk and compliance programmes as well as ensuring appropriate systems and processes are in place to support good governance and compliance. You will also manage the legal team budget.
To be considered, you should have extensive experience as a commercial Lawyer, ideally in a similar Head of Legal position. You should have experience of leading a high performing legal team and advising on a broad range of complex commercial transactions. Furthermore, you should have experience of delivering business change programmes and have excellent knowledge of company and contract law, intellectual property, advertising & marketing law, and data protection.
On offer is a competitive salary of between £80,000-£95,000. The successful candidate would be expected to come into the office 2 days a week (Stratford).
