A local authority based in London is seeking a Commercial Contracts and EU Procurement Lawyer for an initial period of 3 months.
The successful Commercial Contracts Lawyer will be required to have experience advising and drafting a broad range of contracts to include JCT and other buildings contracts, construction contracts, service level agreements, employment contracts etc. Candidates will also be required to advise on EU procurement matters.
Previous local government experience would be highly advantageous. Candidates from the private sector with a broad commercial contracts background are encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to have a current practising certificate.
This is a hybrid working role with the team attending the councils’ offices 1 day per week, usually on a Tuesday.
Due to the urgent nature of the role, the council are seeking Commercial Contracts Lawyers available on no more than 2-3 weeks’ notice.
