A local authority based in London is seeking an experienced Childcare Advocate to join its Legal Services team on a 3-month locum contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable Childcare Advocate with strong public law children experience. The role will require you to undertake advocacy up to final contested hearings lasting multiple days.
The successful candidate will not be required to carry their own caseload. You will undertake advocacy on behalf of the team. Regular court attendance at the councils’ local courts will be required.
You must be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with litigation rights and a current practising certificate to be considered for the role. Strong public childcare advocacy experience is essential.
Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are seeking candidates available on no more than 3 weeks’ notice. The role is paying £55 per hour.
