A local authority based in East London is seeking an Adult Social Services Lawyer on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be joining a highly successful, supportive, and collegiate team. The council have confirmed that local government experience is not essential but advantageous. This permanent Adult Social Care Lawyer position is a hybrid working role, and regular attendance to the office is required. Currently, the role will require you to attend the office 2 days per week. You will be a qualified solicitor, barrister, or chartered legal executive.
The successful candidate will need to have previous experience in carrying a complex caseload of adult community care matters. You will have experience dealing with judicial reviews, human rights assessments, age assessments, mental capacity maters, ordinary residence, court of protection and no recourse to public funds.
