LAW Absolute is working with a leading University based in London. Our client is seeking a Data Protection Lawyer to join their team on a permanent basis to start as soon as possible.


The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with a broad range of commercial legal skills. You will report to the Legal Counsel. The ideal candidate will have good experience in Data Protection.


Your work will include; privacy, data-sharing, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on agreements containing information law provisions. It will also include drafting and advising on complex data-protection related documentation such as data processing agreements, data transfer agreements, privacy impact assessments etc.


You will be working closely with the Data Protection Officer and information security governance team on risk and compliance related issues.
