Weight Watchers launches tender process for healthcare panel
8th October 2012
The multinational dieting company Weight Watchers have announced the launch of a lucrative tender process which will see them introduce a new healthcare panel overseeing the legal aspects of its European operations.
A number of leading private practices in the City have reportedly been contacted by the New York headquartered firm in the hope that solicitors with some of the top lawyer jobs in the corporate world will apply for posts as part of their new set-up.
The launch of this panel has been deemed necessary following the revelation that Weight Watchers will soon be looking to broaden the scope of their partnerships with both other commercial organisations and the public sector.
It is expected that the application process and the review itself will have been wrapped up by the end of the year, paving the way for the group to begin working more closely with the NHS and sponsoring an increased number of private health initiatives and clinical trials.
