Online legal expert starts role at King.com
5th September 2012
Rob Miller, an online legal expert, has switched from his international chief of deals role at daily deals pioneers LivingSocial to an in-house job with King.com, which is Facebook’s second largest game developer.
Previously having held some of the most important lawyer jobs in the world of internet business, Miller only joined LivingSocial at the tail end of last year, with this latest move coming as somewhat unexpected and the result of a headhunter approaching and advising him to look into taking up a position with his new employers.
Heading up all of King.com’s legal, regulatory and compliance matters in his new post as chief legal officer, the experienced online solicitor will become the third of the burgeoning company’s dedicated in-house team, reporting directly to CEO Riccardo Zacconi.
Miller held an influential role with eBay in the past, whilst his most high-profile position to date was a five-year stint as general counsel at Skype, the online video calling tool whose customer base ballooned from 50 to 600 million users during his tenure.
