New Motor Insurers Bureau legal panel announced
4th May 2012
The Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB) has unveiled its new legal panel, with six UK practices being granted a range of roles.
This announcement follows last year’s strategic review of the company’s legal supply team and a recent competitive tendering process. There have been a number of changes to the bureau’s line-up as a result, and its updated panel consists of a mixture of fresh faces and firms who have carried out work for the MIB before.
The organisation’s legal recruitment procedure has appointed various groups to handle core claims, fraud and cost negotiation, as well as its regional Northern Irish and Scottish operations.
Established in 1946, the MIB awards compensation to victims of road traffic accidents whose injuries have been caused by uninsured or untraceable drivers.
Discussing the new panel, chief executive Ashton West said that this latest move represented the group’s continued dedication to delivering a quality service to all of its many clients.
