Matthew Layton given second spell as Global corporate head at Clifford Chance
19th October 2012
Clifford Chance has confirmed who will be taking the role as their global head of corporate, with Matthew Layton being re-elected for another four year term.
It means Layton will be re-elected in November to continue in the role he first occupied in 2008. Having been a corporate partner in the company since 1991, Layton has been a true asset to the company, helping Clifford Chance seal over 150 deals already this year at a value of £138m.
It is the second piece of news to come from the company this week after it was confirmed that Logan Wright would be taking over the role of managing partner at the firm’s Moscow office from Jan ter Haar from January 2013 onwards.
The company has been hugely successful in providing legal jobs all over the world, with offices located in Abu Dhabi, Cassablanca, London and Sao Paolo, among others.
