Hilton settles lingerie company case
8th June 2012
American socialite Paris Hilton has reportedly ended her legal battle with an Italian lingerie firm after agreeing to front their new line.
The 31-year-old employed leading solicitors with dispute resolution lawyer jobs to launch a lawsuit against Le Bonitas, whilst also defending an action the company had brought against her.
The case dates back to 2010 when a deal the heiress had struck with Le Bonitas to launch her own range of lingerie fell through. The Milan-based firm alleged that Hilton had not responded to designs that had been sent to her for approval, whilst the model claims that the collection was not being properly promoted.
A New York court heard the dispute last month, with the presiding judge ordering the two parties to settle their grievances through mediation.
Now, in an unexpected turn of events, Hilton and Le Bonitas appear to have resolved their differences by deciding to restart their partnership with a completely new range.
