On February 14th 2017, LAW Absolute held their second eDiscovery Industry Event at Threadneedles Hotel in Bank. The breakfast seminar provided the opportunity for experts in the eDiscovery field across law firms, LPO’s and corporates to come together and discuss the “The State of the UK eDisclosure marketplace in 2017”. The event boasted an expert panel of speakers; Andrew Haslam of Squire Patton Boggs, Stephen Allen of Hogan Lovell’s and Emily Wyllie- Ballard from RPC and this diverse panel resulted in stimulating intellectual debate.
The event allowed for breakfast and networking upon arrival, an hour of panel discussion across various sub- topics such as consolidation of the marketplace, the use of analytics and the adoption of cloud/hybrid based services (managed services). The topics were then opened up to the floor and allowed for discussion and audience participation.
The breakfast event was a great success and positive feedback was provided on the day. Keen to continue the discussions, many attendees took the time to network after the event and catch up with old and new friends in the industry.
Due to the success of the event, we are eager to brainstorm the next seminar and look forward to hosting more industry events across 2017.
We would like to extend our thanks again to everyone who attended and participated in discussions and send a HUGE thank you to the panel who freely gave their time and commitment in partnering with LAW Absolute.
