Legal Adviser

Legal Adviser sought to join thriving charity’s legal team.

As part of a team of five, you will provide legal advice to Trustees, The Chief Executive, The Senior Management Team and a wide array of internal stakeholders. The legal team is high performing and well respected.

The legal team covers a range of work, though this postholder will focus on property and commercial contracts. You will have the opportunity to delve into charity and company law, governance, data protection, employment law and much more. You will also be actively involved in policy drafting and review.

To be considered, you must be a solicitor, barrister or equivalent with the right to practise as a lawyer in the UK. Applicants may come from Private Practise or in-house but will be able to demonstrate experience in –

  • Commercial agreements with third parties, including the procurement of goods and services, including IT services, commercial contracts and acquisitions.
  • Property related legal queries
  • Sale, purchase and letting of properties

You will be joining a team that provides high quality, timely legal advice. You will receive excellent training. You will have a high level of responsibility, expected to work autonomously but with the backing of a highly supportive legal team.
