Automatic Enrolment into a Workplace Pension
Over the next few years all eligible workers must, by law, be provided with a workplace pension scheme. Workers must be automatically enrolled into a pension scheme if they:
are aged between 22 and State Pension age
earn more than £9,440 a year
work in the UK
LAW Absolute has a staging date of 1st April 2014, this is the date from which we are required to start automatically enrolling eligible workers into a pension scheme. We intend to utilise the three month postponement period for existing eligible workers on 1st April 2014, and for all newly eligible workers after that date.
Preparations are currently underway to implement systems to interface auto enrolment with our existing payroll process and this section of the website will be updated once this is complete.
